C. Sherman Johnson Co. Introduces Garelli Roller Swaging Machines to US Market
The smaller SM1 has a swaging range of 3/32” - 3/8”and weighs 150lbs. The medium SM2 has a swaging range of 3/32” - 1/2” and weighs 250lbs and the larger SM3 has a swaging range of 3/32” - 5/8” and weighs 350lbs. All are electro-mechanical and are available in 110v & 220v configurations. In addition to the dies for swaging, these machines include dies for Nicro Press sleeves. June 2009 – East Haddam, CT – Johnson is pleased to be named sole U.S. distributor for the Garelli line of roller swaging machines, made in Italy. Garelli has been building these reliable swage machines for close to 40 years. The SM1, SM2 & SM3 swagers feature all die sizes stacked vertically and ready to swage with no die handling. These machines swage forward and backward allowing a swage to be done in approximately 30 seconds, cutting down on swaging time and labor.
