Johnson “Terminal Tuner” Turnbuckles Provide a Sleek Termination Alternative for Architectural Cable Railings
March 2009 – East Haddam, CT – Johnson Architectural Hardware has recently introduced a new line of “Terminal Tuner” Turnbuckles for architectural cable railings. Johnson Terminal Tuners are a simple and attractive way to terminate cable with conventional threaded terminals, eliminating the need for in-line turnbuckles, or threaded terminals with cap nuts. Installation and adjustment is a breeze with Johnson Terminal Tuners. Simply drill a hole through the end posts and install a Terminal Tuner at both ends of the cable assembly. Each Terminal Tuner allows for 1-½” of adjustment and they are easily tensioned with a 3/16” hex wrench. The Terminal Tuners are available for 1/8”, 3/16” and 1/4” wire for Machine Swage or 1/8” and 3/16” for Hand Crimp. Three styles are available (Flat Head, Ball End or Bevel Head) to accommodate a variety of architectural and design styles. C. Sherman Johnson Co., Inc. has been a leader in stainless rigging hardware since 1958, providing the marine and architectural industries with a full line of turnbuckles and wire rope fittings - all made in the USA.
